Ozzy first told the public that she had a Stage 2 Parkinson's in 2020, while appearing on television show Good Morning America. However, several media outlets say that actually Ozzy has been affected by this disease since 2003.
"I'm not going to die because of Parkinson's. I've been battling the disease for most of my life," said Ozzy, quoted from the Page Six page.
Ozzy also mentioned that five years against Parkinson was a very difficult time for him. In February 2025, through his ceremony at SiriusXM, he revealed that he could no longer walk because of the disease.
"I made it to 2025. I can't walk, but do you know what I thought during the holidays? Despite all my complaints, I'm still alive," he said.

1. Lack of dopamine
Parkinson's occurs when brain cells that produce dopamine (chemicals important to control body movements) are damaged or dead. This lack of dopamine causes symptoms of Parkinson's symptoms.
2. Derived factors
Although rare, Parkinson's can be reduced. If there are family members who suffer from this disease, the risk of being exposed could be higher.
3. Neighborhood
Exposure to toxins such as pesticides or certain chemicals for a long time is thought to increase the risk of getting Parkinson's disease, although it is not certain to be the main cause.
