Medan Mayor Asks Brimob Danpas For Assistance In Overcoming Brawl
Medan Mayor Rico Tri Putra Waas asked for help from the Brimob Mobile Brigade Commander (Danpas) IKorps Brimob Polri and his staff to overcome the problem of brawls in the capital city of North Sumatra (North Sumatra) province.
"The brawl in Medan City, precisely in the North Medan area, Medan Belawan District, has deeply disturbed the community. We hope Brimob can help overcome this problem," said Rico Waas after receiving a visit from the Brimob Danpas IKorps Brimob Police Brigadier General Anang Sumpena as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 22.
He hopes that the synergy between relevant policy makers, including with Brimob troops, can suppress brawls that violate the rules.
In addition to carrying out coaching, he said, Brimob troops can also make various efforts, including helping to mobilize operational tactical forces.
"Because urban environments may be able to operate warfare, that way the Medan Belawan area will be safe and comfortable," he said.
Walkot Medan said the visit to the introduction of the new Brimob I Danpas was expected to increase synergy with the local government.
"Welcome to Medan City, Mr. Danpas Brimob I. This is an honor for us, the Medan City Government. Of course, the Medan City Government will be ready to synergize with Brimob I troops," said Waas.
