Demonstrators In Kuala Lumpur Protest Trump's Prospective US Ambassador Nick Adams

JAKARTA Dozens of demonstrators gathered outside the US Embassy in Kuala Lumpur on Friday to protest against the proposed appointment of Nick Adams, an influencer calling himself "alpha male", as the United States' envoy to Malaysia.

As reported by Reuters on Friday, July 18, last week, President Donald Trump appointed a vocal author and political commentator, Adams, as a candidate for US ambassador to Malaysia from the White House.

Adams, a naturalized US citizen from Australia, built a bold social media persona, using the image of penuh, "male alpha" to voice cultural issues and attract the attention of the audience, most of whom are young men.
