KPK: Almost All Employees Of The PPTKA Directorate Of The Ministry Of Manpower Enjoy Money Extortion Of Foreign Workers
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that extortion money related to the licensing process for foreign workers (TKA) at the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) was not only enjoyed by the suspects.
Bancakan is said to have occurred at the Directorate of Control of the Use of Foreign Workers (PPTKA).
"The money was also given to almost all employees of the PPTKA Directorate, which amounted to approximately 85 people amounting to at least Rp8.94 billion," said KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto at a press conference at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, July 17.
As for this case, the KPK has named eight suspects. They are Suhartono and Haryanto who once served as Director General of Manpower Placement and Expansion of Job Opportunities (Binapenta and PKK) of the Ministry of Manpower.
Also named as a suspect, namely Wisnu Pramono as Director of PPTKA of the Ministry of Manpower; Devi Anggraeni as Coordinator of the PPTKA Feasibility Test for the period 2020-July 2024 then became Director of PPTKA for the period 2024-2025; Gatot Widiartono as Coordinator for Analysis and Control of Foreign Workers The Directorate of Control of the Use of Foreign Workers of the Ministry of Manpower; and Putri Citra Wahyoe, Jamal Shodiqin, and Alfa Eshad who are staff at the Directorate General of Binapenta and PPK.
From that name, four people have been detained today, July 17. They are Suhartono, Haryanto, Wisnu Pramono, and Devi Anggraeni.
Returning to Setyo, he explained that the suspects in this case enjoyed Rp53.7 billion in money.
Suhartono received Rp460 million from the extortion while serving as Director General of Binapenta and PKK of the Ministry of Manpower for 2020-2023.

Meanwhile, Haryanto, who also served as Director of PPTKA for the 2019-2024 period, received IDR 18 billion; Wisnu as Director of PPTKA of the Ministry of Manpower for the 2017-2019 period pocketed IDR 580 million; Devi Anggraeni as Coordinator of the PPTKA Feasibility Test for the period 2020-July 2024 then became Director of PPTKA for the period 2024-2025 pocketing up to IDR 2.3 billion; and Gatot Widiartono as Coordinator for Analysis and Control of Foreign Workers The Directorate for Control of the Use of Foreign Workers at the Ministry of Manpower for the period 2021-2025 pocketed IDR 6.3 billion.
Then 3 staff at the Directorate General of Binapenta and PPK who became suspects also pocketed money from extortion. Putri Citra Wahyo called the KPK received Rp13.9 billion; Jamal Shodiqin received Rp1.1 billion; and Alfa Eshad received Rp1.8 billion.
"That the parties above use the money for their own benefit and to buy a number of assets purchased in their own name or on behalf of the family," concluded Setyo.
