Not Wearing A Helmet, 25 Foreigners In Bali Caught In Supreme Compliance Operation

BADUNG - Dozens of Foreign Citizens (WNA) were caught in the 2025 Patuh Agung Operation raid carried out by the Badung Police and Mengwi Police.

The Operation Patuh Agung 2025 was carried out at Simpang Tiying Tutul, Pererenan Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency, Bali.

"Hunting activities in the context of Operation Patuh Agung 2025 in order to create traffic order in the Badung Police jurisdiction," said Head of Traffic Unit of the Mengwi Police AKP I Nyoman Mustika as Head of Task Force 3 Gakkum in Operation Patuh Agung 2025, Thursday, July 17.

From the results of Operation Patuh Agung 2025, the police have secured 12 motorcycles, 8 SIMs, and 11 STNKs.

In addition, as many as 25 foreigners and 6 Indonesian citizens (WNI) were also prosecuted for committing violations, such as not wearing helmets, and not having incomplete documents.

"We take action against violators with visible eyes. It's like not using a helmet, without mirrors, Brong exhaust and without vehicle plates," he added.

Meanwhile, for foreigners who commit violations, most of them do not use helmets.

"The implementation of mandatory duties according to the SOP, prioritizes a humanist attitude in taking action. If there are motorists who try to escape, they are not pursued in order to avoid potential harm to the community and officers," he said.

"Personnel also do body checks if there are suspicious foreigners, and the evidence obtained to be recorded and taken to the Badung Police," he said.
