Google Launches Gemini 2.5 Pros And Deep Search For Premium AI Subscribers

JAKARTA - Google has officially launched its newest AI capabilities in its Search service, including the Gemini 2.5 Pro model and Deep Search feature, specifically for Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers.

In an announcement on its official blog, Google Search Product VP Robby Stein, said that users can now access Gemini's strongest model directly through AI Mode in the search bar.

Gemini 2.5 Pro in AI Mode will allow users to get answers from more complex questions, which are included with links to learn more about the topic.

Furthermore, the deep search feature will be present as an AI-based research tool that can compile comprehensive reports from hundreds of search results in a matter of minutes.

Google says this capability is very useful for professional needs, academics, to making important decisions, such as buying a house or making financial analysis.

"This is also a valuable tool when making important decisions in life, such as buying a new house or needing financial analysis assistance," Robby explained.

In addition to improving searches, Google also introduced a new AI-based feature that allows users to make automatic calls to local businesses to ask about the price and availability of services.

Just type like 'pet care near me', users will see the option 'Ask AI to check the price', and Google will contact related businesses automatically.

"This capability is now starting to roll out to all Google Search users in the US, with higher limits for Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers," he concluded.
