RT/RW And Dasawisma Operational Funds In Jakarta Rise, Gerindra Legislator: Beware Of Social Jealousy

JAKARTA - Member of the Gerindra faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Ali Lubis, highlighted the plan of the Governor of DKI Pramono Rano to increase operational funds for RT, RW, and dasawisma cadres in the capital.

According to him, the policy has the potential to cause social jealousy if it is not accompanied by increased incentives for other community apparatus such as posyandu cadres, jumantik (jentik monitoring attendants), to elements of FKDM and LMK.

In Jakarta, there are not only RT, RW, and dawis. There are also FKDM, LMK, posyandu mothers, jumantik and all their equipment. Why haven't they been promoted too?' Ali said at the DKI DPRD Building, Thursday, July 17, 2025.

Ali assessed that the DKI Provincial Government still has sufficient fiscal space to allocate additional incentives for other community groups. Moreover, the 2025 APBD changes are projected to increase by IDR 500 billion, to a total of IDR 91.86 trillion.

"If this is not anticipated, it can cause turmoil in the community. There will be dangerous jealousy," said Ali.

He requested that in the discussion of the 2025 revised APBD, all community apparatus could get the same attention.

"This is still in the process of being discussed. Please allow their operational funds to also increase," he said.

Previously, Governor Pramono Rano announced an increase in incentives for dasawisma cadres from Rp. 500 thousand to Rp. 750 thousand per month. The increase will be realized after the APBD changes are passed.

Meanwhile, operational funds for RT and RW are also planned to increase and may be realized this year.
