Police Arrest 8 KKB Members Who Were Involved In The Attack On Teachers In Yahukimo
The Cartenz Peace Task Force arrested eight suspected perpetrators of the brutal attack on teachers and health workers that occurred in Anggruk District. They are part of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB).
"Of the eight who have been arrested, three have been proven as suspects," said Head of Damai Cartenz, Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani in his statement, Friday, July 11.
They are part of the KKB known as the Eden Sawi Yali Battalion, under the command of Ohion Helembo alias Father Simpang, who is directly affiliated with Kodap XVI Yahukimo led by Elkius Kobak.
In addition, they were secured in a series of law enforcement operations in the Yahukimo Regency and its surroundings.
The three people named as suspects are Aris Pahabol, DH, and NS. While the other five are still in the process of being investigated.
"We are serious about handling this case. We will process the perpetrators involved firmly and professionally. Violence against teachers and health workers cannot be tolerated because they are a symbol of humanity and service," said Faizal.

Meanwhile, Head of the Public Relations Task Force for the Damai Cartenz Ops, Kombes Yusuf Sutejo, said the joint investigation team was still investigating the five perpetrators who had been arrested.
Then, hunt down the rest of the KKB members suspected of being involved in the brutal attack that took place last March.
"We continue to hunt down the remaining members of the armed group who are strongly suspected of being involved in the action," said Yusuf.
