Hospital Association Reveals Digitization And TKDN Becomes The Focus Of Transformation
JAKARTA - General Chairperson of the Central Indonesian Private Hospital Association (ARSSI) Ling Ichsan Hanafi emphasized that digitalization is a must for hospitals in today's era and the government has started this step through the implementation of electronic medical records.
In the future, he said, every health service facility (needs to adapt to be able to digitize all existing procedures and services.
"This will certainly help for effective services, as well as better quality," he said in his statement, Wednesday, July 9.
However, he acknowledged that the digitalization process in private hospitals would run at different stages because it was caused by various hospital characteristics, such as starting from hospitals that are members of large networks (groups), solitary hospitals, to hospitals located in remote areas.
"Today, both friends from solitary or group, maybe later we can see, can confirm, we can see developments in the hospital service industry regarding digitization, maybe later it can be implemented in each hospital," he added.
Ling also highlighted the importance of using domestic products according to the government's direction through the implementation of the Domestic Component Level (TKDN).

He added that currently, of the total number of hospitals in Indonesia, there are around 3,200 hospitals in Indonesia, 1,900 are private hospitals or about 65 percent of the total number of hospitals.
Ling conveyed that in principle, her party fully supports TKDN policies and hopes that domestic products used can offer good quality at affordable prices, and be able to support effective and efficient services.
