Indosat Business Launches Vision AI, Artificial Intelligence-Based Supervision Camera

JAKARTA - Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat or IOH) introduced Vision AI, a surveillance solution designed with artificial intelligence technology (AI)

This solution is expected to transform the industry in maintaining security, increasing operational efficiency, and optimizing data-based decision-making.

With AI technology and deep learning, Vision AI presents a surveillance camera system that is able to analyze the situation in real-time, recognize certain patterns, and provide early warnings of potential risks and opportunities that arise.

Thus, business actors can respond to field conditions quickly, precisely, and based on data, while maintaining the privacy and security aspects of user data.

M. Danny Buldansyah, Director & Chief Business Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, emphasized that the presence of Vision AI reflects a paradigm shift from passive surveillance systems towards a more active, intelligent, and contextual approach.

"AI is no longer the future. AI is the present, and Vision AI proves that technology can be used to create a more responsive, efficient, and privacy protection system," he said.

This solution is available in the form of an AI Box, an AI ready camera, a 3D stereo sensor, and an AI training platform that can be adjusted to the needs of certain industries.

Vision AI can operate with various scenarios in the field, ranging from automatic monitoring in the danger zone, calculating and analyzing traffic for the public interest, proactive public area security surveillance, to understanding behavior.

This initiative also supports the government's efforts to build an AI ecosystem that is independent and globally competitive, as well as to answer the increasingly urgent industrial needs of more sophisticated data-based surveillance solutions.
