BRI Borong 15 Awards At The 2025 Finance Asia Event
HONG KONG - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk reiterated its position as a national financial institution with global competitiveness. In the FinanceAsia Awards and Asias Best Companies 2025 held in Hong Kong (17/6), BRI won 15 awards. This achievement reflects the tough, adaptive, and relevant business fundamentals of the regional financial industry.
In the 2025 FinanceAsia Awards, BRI won awards as Best Commercial Bank SMEs, Best Bank for Financial Inclusion, Best Private Bank, and Best Customer Bank, as well as Best Bank with the highly distributed category for the domestic category.
This achievement reflects the recognition of the strength of BRI's business model which is able to provide inclusive, relevant, and competitive services in various market segments.
Every year, FinanceAsia also organizes Asia's Best Companies, a prestigious benchmark compiled based on surveys of leading investors and analysts to assess the most superior and influential companies in each industrial sector in Asia. In the list of 2025 for the domestic category, BRI won gold titles in the Best Managed Company, Best Investor Relations, and Best Managed categories among financial institutions. In addition, BRI also received a number of awards with silver predicates, including Best Large-Cap Company, Most Committed to ESG, Best DEI, Best Use of Technology, as well as three awards awarded to the BRI Board of Management.
In his statement, FinanceAsia said that the leading financial institutions in the Asia Pacific region are considered capable of facing global uncertainty, amid post-pandemic world economic recovery and a slowdown in economic growth. In the midst of conditions that are not yet fully stable, they continue to show toughness and are able to create positive achievements amid challenges.

BRI President Director Hery Gunardi revealed that this achievement confirms that the resilience and relevance of business models is BRI's main foundation in maintaining public trust and facing the dynamics of the financial industry. BRI sees great opportunities to continue to grow, innovate, and strengthen BRI's position in the national and regional financial industries.

BRI has more than 36,600 marketers consisting of micro marketers (Mantri), RM Lending, and RM Funding & Transaction and BRI are also supported by more than 6 thousand work units, ranging from Branch Offices to BRI Units spread to remote parts of the country. Making BRI as the bank with the widest network and reach in Indonesia," said Hery.
In addition, Hery added that BRI also has a large customer base where until the end of March 2025 there were more than 221 million savings accounts and 211 thousand QLola users in the corporate segment. This is not just a number, this is a large ecosystem that will become BRI's strategic strength in the future.
Earlier in June 2025, BRI also recorded proud international achievements by ranking 349 of the world's 2,000 largest public companies on the Forbes Global 2000 list. This achievement makes BRI the largest public company with the highest ranking in Indonesia in the Forbes list. In the report, BRI recorded positive performance with revenues reaching USD 16.07 billion, USD 3.8 billion profit, USD 123.83 billion assets, and USD 33.48 billion market value which helped strengthen its position on the international stage.
