Ordered By Several Entrepreneurs, EHang 216-S Flying Vehicles Have Fantastic Prices

JAKARTA - EHang 216-S officially conducted an air test on Wednesday, June 25 at Phantom Ground Park Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2, Tangerang, Banten.

Not only that, but Prestige Aviation as the importer revealed the price of the order from the vehicle.

Chairman of Prestige Aviation, Rudy Salim said the EHang 216-S was pegged at US $ 535 thousand or equivalent to Rp. 8.713 billion for the Indonesian market. The price includes taxes.

"The price is 535 thousand US dollars and includes taxes. The price is different from other countries because each country is different," Rudy said when met by reporters after the ceremony at PIK 2, Tangerang.

He also said that several customers had ordered the vehicle, including businessmen in Indonesia.

"There are several buyers including entrepreneurs," added Rudy.

The unique thing in the EHang 216-S is that the vehicle is powered by pure electricity, so that it can contribute to a greener ecosystem in the future.

This flying vehicle has also obtained a flight test permit with passengers from the Directorate of Airworthiness and Aircraft Operations (DKPPU), which is one of the directorates under the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub).

The operation is carried out unmanned, EHang 216-S can work under the control of the AAV on land by utilizing the 4G/5G network as a high-speed wireless channel to communicate smoothly with the command and control center.

This aerial vehicle is claimed to be capable of traveling a distance of up to 30 km in one full charging with a flight duration of between 18-25 minutes with the highest speed of 130 km/hour.
