The Commander Of The IRGC Quds Troops Appeared To The Public After It Was Reported That He Was Killed
JAKARTA - Commander of the Quds Forces from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Iranian Brigadier General Esmail Qaani, emerged to the public in good health while attending the celebration of the victory that Iran claimed over Israel in Tehran on Tuesday (24/6).
The video uploaded by Iran News Agency, Tasnim, shows Qaani in the crowd at the event.
"Komandan Qaani attended the Tehran people's association today after Operation Divine Victory," wrote the news agency on social media platform X as reported by ANTARA from Anadolu, Wednesday, June 25.
State-funded TV channel Press TV also published the video and stated: Brigadier General Esmail Qaani, Commander of the IRGC Quds Forces, was warmly welcomed by the crowd of joy in Tehran during the celebration of victory over the Zionist regime (Israel).
Earlier this month, The New York Times reported Qaani was among Iranian military leaders killed in Israeli airstrikes.
