There Are Still 1.24 Million Workers Who Have Not Received BSU, Minister Of Manpower Yassierli: Verification And Validation Process

JAKARTA - The government has started distributing the 2025 Wage Subsidy Assistance (BSU), as of today it has been distributed to 2.45 million workers from the total recipients of phase I 3.69 million. This means that there are still 1.24 million workers who have not received BSU.

The Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Yassierli said that some workers had not received BSU disbursement because they were still in the verification process.

"The rest is still in process. So you guys understand the process first. So we have data, we verify the data, validate it," he said at a press conference in Jakarta, Tuesday, June 24.

Yassierli said the data on BSU recipients itself came from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. However, his party still performs re-verification so that the distribution is right on target, such as re-checking the account numbers at the State Bank Association (Himbara).

"Then there is a kind of check as well, re-check at Himbara related to the account number. Then there is a transfer process and it also takes time," he said.

In addition, he said, wage subsidy assistance also does not target the State Civil Apparatus (ASN), TNI-Polri soldiers. Therefore, the verification and validation process takes time and caution.

"We want to be very careful in ensuring that the data from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan is in accordance with the criteria that have been set," he said.

Previously, it was reported that wage subsidy assistance (BSU) in 2025 had been distributed to 2.45 million workers per day from the total recipients of stage 1 as many as 3,697,836 workers. The BSU distribution process is carried out through Himbara banks, namely BNI, BRI, BTN, Mandiri temporarily for BSI specifically for recipients who live in Aceh.

Minister of Manpower Yassierli explained that this wage subsidy was given for two months with a value of Rp. 300,000 each. However, the distribution was carried out at the same time so that the total received by workers was Rp. 600,000.

"As of today, Tuesday, June 24, 2025, of the number of BSU recipients in stage 1, 3,697,836 recipients have been distributed to the recipient's account as many as 2,450,068 people and the remaining 1,247,768 are still in process," he said at a press conference in Jakarta, Tuesday, June 24.

Yassierli explained that his party also estimates that BSU recipients who do not have a Himbara account will be distributed through PT Pos Indonesia (Persero).

"We also anticipate that prospective BSU recipients who do not have a Himbara account will be distributed through PT. POS Indonesia. This is the same as the previous year's policy," he said.
