Gorontalo Police Fire 4 Members

GORONTALO - The Gorontalo Regional Police (Polda) issued a decision on dishonorable dismissal (PTDH) alias dismissal of four Polri personnel who served at the Polda and Polres ranks in the area.

The Head of Public Relations of the Gorontalo Police, Kombes Desmont Harjendro, said that the four personnel who were fired were members of the Gorontalo Police Ditreskrimum, Bripka Iqbal Sam Kono, a member of the Gorontalo Police, Brigadier Firman Zulkarnain Hadju.

Then members of the Gorontalo Police, Brigadier Lukman Dahlan Yasin and First Brigadier Ray Pinasang, who are members of the Propam Bid of the Gorontalo Police.

"This is a form of commitment in law enforcement and discipline of Polri members, as well as the implementation of fair transparency as the policy of the National Police Chief, namely Transformation towards a Precise Police," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, June 23.

He explained that the PTDH was carried out based on the Decree of the Gorontalo Police Chief Number: KEP/104/VI/2025 dated June 03, 2025, Number: KEP/105/VI/2025 dated June 03, 2025, and Number: KEP/106/VI/2025 dated June 03, 2025, and Number: KEP/107/VI/2025 dated June 03, 2025.

Desmont said the dismissal of the four members of the National Police was not an achievement, but this had to be done in order to maintain the good name of the organization.

"In addition, this firm action is a lesson for other personnel so that in carrying out their duties they always obey the applicable rules and norms. The Kapolda has repeatedly emphasized to all Polda and Polres ranks not to violate the law which can reduce the image of the Police in the community in addition to having to enforce discipline," he said.

The four members of the National Police, continued Desmont, have been legally proven to have violated the police professional code of ethics based on the verdict of the Police Code of Ethics Commission.
