Appreciation For Infrastructure Development, Minister Of Karding Hopes Facilities In Migrant Worker Pockets Continue To Increase

JAKARTA - Indonesian Migrant Worker Protection Minister (P2MI) Abdul Kadir Karding conveyed that the policy direction for the sustainable infrastructure development of President Prabowo's government is designed for long-term prosperity and is in favor of the interests of the community.

According to him, this sustainable development cannot only be seen as a physical project, but is able to have a direct effect on the welfare of citizens, including Indonesian migrant workers.

This was conveyed by him after attending the National Infrastructure Conference which was held at the Plenary Hall, Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), Senayan, Jakarta, Friday, June 13.

"Today I attended an infrastructure conference conducted by the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development (Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono) whose direction is how to determine strategic infrastructure that will affect infrastructure in terms of infrastructure," said Minister Karding.

Minister Karding hopes that the sustainable infrastructure development of the era of President Prabowo Subianto in responding to this global challenge can be optimized in terms of protection and services for migrant workers, such as providing safe migration facilities, integrated training centers, to an integrated data collection system.

Another hope is that the national infrastructure policy will touch more deeply in the opening of economic access in migrant enclaves. In addition, strengthening the role of the government in empowering migrant candidates from pre-departure to return home.

The National Infrastructure Conference which took place today was attended by President Prabowo Subianto and the Coordinating Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY).
