Case Of Theft At Rest Area KM 62B Cikampek Toll Road, 2 Perpetrators Arrested
The Karawang Police Criminal Investigation Unit arrested two suspected perpetrators of theft with weight (curat) who acted at the KM 62 B rest area of the Cikampek Toll Road in the Tangerang area.
"Two perpetrators were arrested each with the initials SA (46) and SPN (31). Both were arrested in the Tangerang area on Tuesday (10/6)," said Head of the Public Relations Section of the Karawang Police, Ipda Solikhin, in Karawang, Thursday, June 12, as reported by Antara.
He conveyed, in accordance with the results of the investigation, the Subunit Resmob Team of the Jatanras Unit of the Karawang Police Criminal Investigation Unit managed to identify and track the whereabouts of the perpetrators.
The arrests of the two perpetrators were carried out separately, in different areas in the Tangerang area, Banten.
According to him, the perpetrator with the initials SA was arrested on Jalan Pintu Air III, Pulo Mosquito Village, Parung Serab Village, Ciledug District, Tangerang City. Meanwhile, the SP perpetrator was arrested around Cibadak Street, Tangerang Regency.
During the arrest, the police confiscated a number of evidences allegedly used in crimes such as a set of T keys, two hats, one mask, two cell phones, two wallets, two ID cards, and two SIMs.
The two perpetrators, initials SA and SP were arrested after committing theft in the rest parking area of KM 62 B of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road on May 20, 2025. In the action, the perpetrator targeted the car left by the owner.
The incident, which occurred at around 20.00 WIB, resulted in victims experiencing a total loss of up to Rp. 100 million.
According to information from the reporter, Iffan Wijaya (29), a Civil Servant from Babakan Ciparay, Bandung City, the incident began when witness Dodi Maryadi (45) parked a Toyota Hiace at the scene.
The victims, namely Aditiyo Bagus Nugroho (42) from Batu Ceper Tangerang, Anggit Widya Kimantara (36) from South Tangerang, Heru Pamungkas (56) from South Jakarta, and Robert Sugiarto (38) from South Jakarta, then got out of the car to rest and eat at Baso Afung Restaurant.

After finishing eating and returning to the car, Iffan Wijaya found his bag in the back seat of the driver having disappeared.
During the inspection, all the bags and other valuables in the car were also gone.
The items that were lost included four laptops, cellphones, Rp19.5 million in cash, Nintendo Switch along with chargers and others.
As a result of this theft, the victims are estimated to have suffered material losses of up to Rp. 100 million.
