Many Enthusiasm Transjabodetabek, Pramono: I Was Invaded To Open Bandung-Blok M Route, Surabaya-Blok M

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung expressed public interest, both those living in Jakarta and outside the region, in the opening of the Tresnsjabodetabek route.

In fact, Pramono mentioned that many requests from the public were conveyed through social media to open the Transjabodetabek route with routes from the Blok M area, Central Jakarya, to cities in other provinces that are very far apart.

"In Blok M, now it's starting to get crowded, even now I have been completely invaded on my Instagram for the past few days, on my Tiktok, and on my X, to open (rutes) such as Bandung-Blok M, Surabaya-Blok M, Jogja-Blok M, some even Medina-Blok M," said Pramono jokingly, Tuesday, June 10.

Pramono realized that the request for the Transjabodetabek route requested by residents from cities such as Bandung to Surabaya was just a joke. Because, it is impossible for the DKI Provincial Government to realize.

However, Pramono sees this as a form of public enthusiasm for the provision of public transportation at low rates from Jakarta to buffer areas.

"I said it's okay. It's part of something that's actually joking. But in my opinion, it shows that what we're doing is getting an extraordinary public response," Pramono explained.

Blok M is now the area that is the center of Pramono's attention in developing the integration of public transportation services. Many of the recently launched Transjabodetabek routes put Blok M at a stopping point for the penyangga area.

Among them include the Transjabodetabek route Blok M-Alam Sutera (S61) which was inaugurated on April 24, Blok M-PIK 2 (T31) which officially operates on May 22, and Blok M-Bogor (P11) which officially launched on June 5.

In addition, Pramono has also inaugurated the M Hub Block to integrate public transportation facilities with commercial and culinary areas, to organize pedestrian lines in the Blok M area.

"Why is the hub in Blok M? Because we are indeed preparing Blok M, we will fix it as a new hub because it is easy to go to Blok M from now on," said Pramono, some time ago.

According to Pramono, Blok M is a strategic area in the use of public transportation because community visits to the area are increasing.

Pramono claims the Transjabodetabek route from Blok M is filled with users of public transportation services.

"Unexpectedly, for example Alam Sutera-Blok M, PIK 2 Blok M, the increase is extraordinary, almost double what we expected," explained Pramono.
