Trump Will Talk To Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu
JAKARTA - US President Donald Trump is expected to speak with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday local time.
This news was reported by reporter Axios in a post on X, citing a source familiar with it.
The United States has previously reportedly proposed a 60-day ceasefire and the release of 28 Israeli hostages - alive and dead - in the first week, in exchange for the release of 1,236 Palestinian prisoners and the bodies of 180 Palestinians killed.
Documents seen by Reuters state that US plans are guaranteed by US President Donald Trump and Egyptian and Qatar mediators, including sending humanitarian aid to Gaza as soon as Hamas signs a ceasefire agreement.

The White House on Thursday said Israel had approved a US ceasefire proposal.
While Israeli media reported Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the families of the hostages who were held in Gaza, Israel had accepted the agreement delivered by Trump's Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff.
The Palestinian militant group, Hamas, has received Israel's response to the proposal, which it says "failed to meet the fair and legitimate demands of our people" including an immediate cessation of hostilities and an end to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
Hamas Basem Naim officials said Israel's response "is basically aimed at strengthening the occupation and perpetuating killing and hunger policies, even as long as what should be a temporary de-escalation period".
However, he said the Hamas leadership was conducting a "complete and responsible study of the new proposal".
