North Korea's Internet Is Completely Paralyzed! Researchers Reveal Possible Causes
JAKARTA - On Saturday morning June 7, Korean time, the internet in North Korea suddenly experienced massive disruptions. This was reported by a British researcher. This disruption made all major North Korean sites, including news sites and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, inaccessible.
According to Junade Ali, researchers monitoring North Korea's internet infrastructure, all internet access lines of the country, both entering through China and Russia, have disappeared from the global monitoring system. North Korea's current internet connection is completely dead," Ali said as quoted by VOI from Reuters.
Surprisingly, Ali said that this was most likely not the result of cyber attacks from outside, but was caused by internal problems at home. However, until now, it is not clear whether this blackout was intentional or purely a technical accident.

Reuters verified that North Korea's official website could not be accessed on Saturday morning. Meanwhile, South Korean authorities, including a cyber terror response center in the police, have yet to provide an official statement.
This outage adds to the long list of mysteries that often surround North Korea, a closed country that only has a handful of internet sites accessible from outside. It is not yet clear whether this is part of their cybersecurity strategy, efforts to restrict information, or major technical problems.
