The Sigli' Banda Aceh Section 1 Toll Road Is Opened Functionally During The 2025 Eid Holiday, Check The Schedule!
JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) functionally opened the Sigli 'Banda Aceh Toll Road Section 1 (Padang Tiji'Seulimeum) during the Eid al-Adha 1446 Hijri/2025 holiday.
The functional operation of this toll road will take place in the next week, starting from Thursday, June 5 to Tuesday, June 10. Later, the operation of this toll road is only intended for Group I vehicles with a maximum speed of 60 kilometers per hour.
Executive Vice President (EVP) Corporate Secretary Hutama Karya Adjib Al Hakim said the operation was carried out based on discretion and strict supervision from the police, while still paying attention to the safety and comfort aspects of road users.
"Fungsional toll road will take place at 08.00-18.00 WIB every day with two-way access from Padang Tiji to Seulimeum and vice versa. Even though it is functional, toll road users still have to tap electronic money cards at toll gates," said Adjib as quoted from his written statement, Wednesday, June 4.
Adjib explained that this operation was also supported by a number of anticipatory steps from the results of the evaluation of the 2025 Lebaran homecoming flow, so that the toll road was still safe for users to cross.
"Starting from installing additional signs, placing standby officers, increasing patrol frequency and intensive coordination with the police and the transportation service," he said.

According to Adjib, the operational readiness of this toll road also refers to the smooth running of traffic flow services during the Lebaran 2025 homecoming and homecoming period as well as when supporting access to the spread of the pilgrimage, without any fatal accident (zero fatality).
"We appeal to toll road users to prepare themselves before crossing by ensuring that the physical condition and vehicle are in prime condition, complying with the functional speed limit to comply with instructions and directions from officers in the field," he concluded.
