3 Students In Mataram Rape A 14-year-old Teenager

MATARAM - Mataram City Police, West Nusa Tenggara handled the case of three 17-year-old students suspected of having sex with a 14-year-old girl on a rotating basis.

Head of the Women and Children Protection Unit of the Mataram Police, Iptu Eko Ari Prastya, explained that the handling of this case began with a follow-up to the report of the victim's family from West Lombok Regency.

"Following up the report, we secured the three students from Mataram on suspicion of immoral acts," said Iptu Eko Ari as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, June 2.

The three students had the initials BA, WD, and MI. The police are still investigating the alleged perpetrators.

"So, there are no suspects yet. We are still investigating," he said.

From the victim's statement, Eko Ari said that the alleged immoral act began with an acquaintance with a teenage age man with the initials FJ through Instagram social media.

After the acquaintance, FJ invited the victim to stay at a friend's house. FJ picked up the victim along with one of the alleged perpetrators with the initials BA at his home in the West Lombok area on Friday (23/5).

"So, the victim has prepared clothes from home, as many as three pairs. Indeed, there is an intention to run away from home to stay at FJ's friend's house," said Eko Ari.

After being picked up by FJ with BA, the victim was taken to Sodafi Beach in Sekarbela District, Mataram City. Not long after being on the beach, two other suspected perpetrators, WD and MI came.

The victim was then invited by FJ and three suspected perpetrators went to WD's house. While at WD's house, the victim had asked to be taken home. However, FJ detained him and ordered the victim to stay at WD's house.

The intercourse then took place on Saturday morning (24/5). The first time, the victim was sexually assaulted twice by BA.

Furthermore, in the afternoon, the victim was again sexually assaulted by WD and MI. At first the victim was sexually assaulted in turn. Then continued at the same time.

"The confession of the victim, initially individually, then simultaneously, watched each other," he said.

Eko Ari said the victim was at WD's house until Tuesday (27/5). After that, the victim moved to the house of one of the friends of the alleged perpetrator with the initials AD. While at the Army house, the victim admitted that he had never had sex with anyone.

This case was revealed after the family searched for the whereabouts of the victim, who had no news and returned home.

The family initially asked for help from the victim's colleague with the initials IN to find out the whereabouts of the victim. IN was then able to contact from one of the alleged perpetrators, BA and asked where the victim was.

When contacted by IN, BA admitted that he was with the victim. IN then asked to meet the victim.

From the agreement with BA, IN was invited to meet in the Loang Baloq area, Mataram City. When he met there, it turned out that IN was already with the victim's family and the hamlet apparatus.

"When I met him at Loang Baloq, he was trapped by the victim's family. There were village heads (heads of hamlets) and others," said Eko Ari.
