Governor Visits Mamolo Nunukan Village Community, Discusses Seaweed Development

NUNUKAN After participating in a series of activities of the Sebatik Cross-Border Post Operation Coordination Meeting (Rakor), Governor of North Kalimantan (Kaltara), Zainal A. Paliwang visited Mamolo village, Nunukan Regency, Tuesday, May 27, evening.

The arrival of the Governor of Kaltara was warmly welcomed by community leaders, religious leaders, youth and fishing communities in Mamolo village.

"I am very happy to be able to meet with all of you, especially the residents of the Mamolo village community whose livelihoods are in the sea such as seaweed farmers and fishermen," said Governor Zainal.

At this gathering, Governor Zainal discussed with the public various important issues such as production challenges, marketing, and government support to increase the productivity and welfare of fishermen and seaweed farmers.

Governor Zainal emphasized his commitment to provide the necessary real solutions and support so that the seaweed sector can continue to develop and make a positive contribution to the regional economy.

"I hope that this gathering will continue to exist and always synergize between the provincial government and the community so that they are equally committed to building an advanced and prosperous province of Kalitara," he concluded. (ADV)
