Defendant In The Zainal Flower Fraud Case Can't Attend, Trial Is Postponed Again
JAKARTA - The trial of the fraudulent investment fraud case that made actress Bunga Zainal a victim had to experience another delay.
This is because the panel of judges wants the two defendants, AAACD and SSFS to be presented in person before the trial.
"The trial was postponed for one week because we saw that the judge wanted the defendant to be present in person in the courtroom," said Bunga Zainal's attorney, Muhammad Zaky Rabbani at the West Jakarta District Court, Monday, May 27.
Bunga Zainal approved the judge's decision so that this trial could run smoothly and well, especially since the defendant did not have a legal representative.
"We will see for ourselves that the judge wants for this case the defendant must be present at the trial," he continued.
Therefore, Zaky ensured that the two defendants at the next trial, on June 3, would be presented in person.

"For this case, the defendant next week will be presented offline, present in person," said Muhammad Zaky Rabbani.
Bunga Zainal itself is expected to also attend to see firsthand the trial which cost him up to IDR 6 billion. However, Zaky could not confirm it because Bunga should only be present at the witness statement hearing.
"Mrs. Bunga will certainly be present for the witness trial. But next week it's not a witness yet, it's still an indictment. But I don't know if he wants to be present, he can attend," he concluded.
