The Wall Of The School Building Barrier And Residents' Settlements In Duren Sawit Collapsed, Allegedly Due To The Water Channel Galiran Project
JAKARTA - The 30-meter-long school building barrier on Jalan Nusa Indah 5, Malacca Jaya, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta suddenly collapsed.
The wall building was scattered covering the access road in residential areas.
The wall of the guardrail of the school building collapsed when there was a water channel project work at the scene. Luckily there were no victims when the wall collapsed.
The head of the local RT, Candra, said that the environmental management had previously submitted a proposal to the school to repair the wall.
The school has also prepared building materials and construction workers, but it has not been repaired until it finally collapsed.
"So (which collapsed) the RT 13 guardrail with SMA 103, indeed we have been southeast of doyong for a long time. Incidentally, when there was work on the water channel and it turned out that the incident was now (roboh)," Candra told reporters, Sunday, May 25, 2025.

As a result of the collapse of the wall, residents' road access was temporarily closed. It is feared that the collapsed debris and wall iron could endanger residents who passed at the scene.
"Alhamdulillah, there were no victims. It is possible (the cause) has an effect from there (the work on the water channel). (the block collapsed) approximately 30 meters," he said.
Until now, the repair of the school building guard wall is still being handled by officers in the field and assisted by local residents.
