Supported By BRI, The U-14 2024 - 2025 Kompas League Becomes The Largest Early Childhood Football Development Event In Indonesia
TANGERANG - The U-14 Kompas League Powered by BRI for the 2024/2025 season officially closed today at the Indomilk Stadium, Tangerang, Banten, on Sunday 4 May. Carrying the spirit of sportsmanship and commitment to the development of young football, this closure is the culmination of a series of competitions that not only gave birth to champions, but also paved the way for 18 talented players to the international stage at the 2025 Gothia Cup, Sweden.
The excitement of closing the U-14 Kompas League Powered by BRI is increasingly complete with the presence of BRI Corporate Secretary Agustya Hendy Bernadi, PSSI Executive Committee (Exco) Member Eko Setiawan, Assistant Sports Deputy of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Supeni Pudyastuti, and Deputy Chief Editor of Kompas Daily Adi Prinatyo. Their presence is a tangible form of cross-sectoral support for early childhood coaching in Indonesia.
In his remarks, BRI Corporate Secretary Agustya Hendy Bernadi emphasized that BRI is committed to supporting the development of national football from upstream to downstream, starting from early childhood coaching, improving the quality of competition, to professionalism in the football industry.
BRI is proud to be a part of this prestigious competition. From the start, we believed that early childhood development was an important foundation for producing the golden generation of Indonesian football. Through this competition, we saw the passion, hard work, and extraordinary potential of young players who became the hope of the future of national football," he said.

As is known, BRI has consistently supported the progress of the national football industry ecosystem in recent years. Among them is BRI's support as the sponsorship title in the top caste of the football competition in Indonesia, namely BRI Liga 1. This support has been running for four consecutive seasons, namely the 2021/2022 competition season, 2022/2023, 2023/2024, and currently the 2024/2025 competition season is still running.
This support cannot be separated from BRI Liga 1's economic potential which is quite large. Based on the BRI Research Institute's study in July 2024, the implementation of BRI Liga 1 has the potential to create a circulation of money (economic output) for the Indonesian economy of Rp. 10.42 trillion. From the circulation of money, economic added value (GDP) can be created, additional community household income, potential tax income, and the creation of job opportunities of around 45 thousand people', said Hendy.
Marking the closing of the season, the U-14 Kompas League Powered by BRI presents a series of main agendas including The Match, The Awards, and Pekan Raya which include Football Expo, LKG Lounge, Food & Beverage area, as well as the Coaching Clinic session which presents national football figures.
The Match as the top agenda in the U-14 Powered by BRI 2024/2025 Kompas League is also the decisive match for the title this season. As a result, Babek SS managed to establish himself as 1st Place, followed by Persigawa as 2nd Winner, and Young Warrior FA to the 3rd Place.
Not only is it the end of the season, this moment is also filled with The Awards which are an appreciation event for outstanding individuals throughout the competition. Rayina Pamungkas from Babek SS was named Top Scorer, while Fikri Pratama Gunawan from Persigawa won the title of Best Goalkeeper this season. The U-14 Kompas League series Powered by BRI is also an important part of preparing for the international Gothia Cup event in Sweden in July 2025.
With various coaching programs being carried out, the U-14 Compass League Powered by BRI is expected to continue to be the best forum for young talents to develop, hone skills, and gain competitive competing experiences, as well as open up greater opportunities to pursue careers in professional football, both at the national and international levels.
