PKS Hopes Jokowi Government's Work Will Be Better After The Limited Reshuffle
JAKARTA - Secretary-General of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Habib Aboe Bakar Alhabsyi said that his party hopes that President Joko Widodo's cabinet can work better in overcoming various problems of the people after a limited cabinet reshuffle.
He said the work of the newly inaugurated minister President Jokowi is likely to be tougher, because the merger and formation of new ministries/institutions show that there are more demands and a wider scope of work.
Regarding the inauguration of Bahlil Lahadalia as Minister of Investment and Head of the Investment Coordinating Board, Aboe is of the opinion that the position is an important and strategic position.
"Certainly, this investment is important, especially in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Hopefully, the chosen person will be able to provide the best solutions and investment alternatives for Indonesia," Aboe said as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, April 28.

Meanwhile, regarding the inauguration of Nadiem Makarim as Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Aboe said that Nadiem's work would be tougher in the future.
"Because (the ministries) are a combination (of two different ministries), it will be even harder for him. We'll see, it's not easy, huh. Hopefully, this burden will be overcome by him, and I'm sure when the president has voted, it must be there the previous notes and dialogues. It must be a long process," said Aboe.
President Jokowi made changes to the limited cabinet after the merger of the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education into one ministry. Not only that, but the Investment Coordinating Board is also the Ministry of Investment and the Investment Coordinating Board.
