The basic capabilities referred to for students include independent thinking, problem solving, communication, and cooperation. The use of AI is also considered to be able to create a more innovative and challenging classroom.
This effort follows the launch of AI courses by Chinese universities and an increase in the number of registrations, especially after startups DeepSek attracted global attention in January by launching a competitive and cheaper large language model developed over similar products from the US.
In the same month, China also announced its first national action plan to achieve its "strong education state" status by 2035, with the aim of leveraging innovation efficiency in order to realize the target.
