Early Promising MilkLifeShakers At JSSL 2025
JAKARTA The MilkLife Shakers (U-12) team managed to start their journey in the group stage of the Singapore 7's 2025 Junior Soccer School and League (JSSL) event so promising.
They have temporarily been at the top of Group A in two consecutive days after winning three wins at once since Friday, April 18, 2025. The result saw them collect 12 points, away from the JSSL FC 1 home team in second place (nine points).
"Always win because we practice routines and often communicate, of course, remind each other. Even though we lose posture, we still dare," said the captain of the MilkLife Shakers team, Adinda R. Widayati, in a statement.

MilkLife Shakers then started the second day of the tournament by beating Tai Tam Tigers (Hong Kong) with a score of 1-0. They then won a landslide with a score of 4-0 against the Hong Kong Junior Football League (HKJFL) 1 in the second match.
The next three points were secured by MilkLife Shakers through a walkover (WO) victory because the Singapore Football Club resigned because it felt the game was too late.
The MilkLife Shakers coach, Maya Susmita, said that she always advised the team not to be pressured and asked them to play relaxed, but to stay optimal on the pitch.
"In addition, we always take the time to vent after the match to evaluate what the shortcomings are so that it can be addressed in the next match," said Maya.
A no less impressive performance was also shown by the HydroPlus Strikers (U-14) team. Currently, the squad is in second place in the standings with 12 points, overshadowing Lion City Sailors at the top (16 points).
HydroPlus Strikers have two matches against the home team, namely Lion City Sailor and National Development Center (NDC) B, as well as a team from the United Arab Emirates namely the Empire Football Club. As a result, they made two wins and one series.
They started their second day of the tournament with Lion City Sailor's draw. HydroPlus Strikers then won 3-1 against the Empire Football Club and won 4-0 versus NDC B.
MilkLife Shakers will then have three matches against JSSL FC 1 (Singapore), NDC B (Singapore), and HKJFL 2 (Hong Kong) at The Cage Dempsey on 19 April 2025.
The HydroPlus Strikers squad will also play three matches, respectively versus Paulstiga Soccer Academy (Philippine), Singapore Football Club (Singapore), and JSSL FC 2 (Singapore) at The Arena.
