China Has The Most Opportunity In The 2025 Sudirman Cup
JAKARTA China is considered to have the most opportunity to lift the 2025 edition Sudirman Cup mixed team championship trophy when compared to other countries.
Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) I of the Central Board of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PP PBSI), Taufik Hidayat, said that China currently has even strength in all sectors.
"If the chances are in the 2025 Sudirman Cup, the most complete is only China. If the other (states) leak in the five sectors," said the gold medalist at the 2024 Athens Olympics.
Selain memiliki kekuatan merata, China juga akan bertindak sebagai tuan rumah dari ajang bergensi tersebut. Selain itu, negara tersebut datang ke turnamen tahun ini dengan status juara bertahan.

This year, China also came with the status of the first seed because of the composition of their players. So, they are most favorite to add titles.
"There is a country that is single and strong, there are children who are lacking, their daughters are strong, some are lacking. That means everyone is thinking about it," said Taufik.
In the history of the tournament, China is also listed as the collector of the most titles. In total there are 13 titles in their cabinet, followed by South Korea (4 titles) in second place and Indonesia (1 title) in third place.
The 2025 Sudirman Cup will take place from 27 April 2025 to 4 May 2025 at Fenghuang Gymnasium, Xiamen. A total of 16 countries are participating.
Indonesia started its journey from Group D with India, England, and Denamrk. PBSI has also released the names of 13 representatives who will be sent there.
