Capai 310 Kilometers, Verge TS Pro Sets The World Record For The Longest Travel Distance Of Electric Motors
JAKARTA - Tech company Verge Motorcycles has just set a new Guinness world record for the furthest distance traveled by electric motorcycles with a single charge.
The journey to break the record for 310 kilometers (about 192 miles) was successfully completed using the Verge TS Pro electric motorcycle. This model is one of three models in the company's product lineup, along with the TS Ultra and California Edition TS Pro. This action took place in London, England on March 22.
A team consisting of electric vehicle experts was specially formed to prepare for the Guinness world record-breaking effort. The drivers on duty are Sam Clarke and Sara Sloman.
While the 192 miles (310 kilometers) may not sound too far away, efforts to break this record lasted more than 16 hours. The trip passes through the suburban area within the M25 London toll road circle.
Despite spending a long time on the road and covering a significant distance, the batteries on the Verge TS Pro still have about seven percent remaining power.
Verge Motorcycles admits that the bike can actually go further. However, attempts to break records were stopped after reaching a new benchmark, as well as to ensure the reliability of the data collected.
This world record is a very proud moment for the entire Verge team. We have developed our efficiency, driving ability, and motorcycle features over the years, and we want to show the world that anything is possible. This record is a real demonstration of our unique technology capabilities and ownership architecture. For us, this is a symbol of the determination of our bold goals, strengthening trust, and being able to demonstrate the reliability and performance capabilities of our solutions concretely. This is the right time to advance to a higher level and towards new opportunities to test our motors, "said CMO Verge Motorcycles, Lauri Laukeken, as reported by Visordown, Friday 11 April.
Laukken added, "It's worth noting that, even after setting a new world record, motorcycle batteries still have about seven percent remaining power. That means this bike can go further, but the team decided to stop to ensure data reliability after 16 hours of driving and break records."

As for the specifications of the Verge TS Pro itself, it is also not arbitrary by attending with peak torques reaching 1000 Nm, allowing for a very responsive acceleration. This motorbike is capable of reaching a maximum speed of up to 200 km/hour, and recording a time of 0-100 km/hour in 3.5 seconds.
While the motor is also equipped with fast charging equipped with a CCS charging port that allows for slow AC charging and DC fast charging, charging from 0 to 80 percent only takes 35 minutes.
The electric motor, which is sold in the UK, starting at 31,980 pounds (equivalent to Rp697 million), produces a output of 102 kW, and on the manufacturer's website, it is capable of offering a distance of up to 350 km in single charging, providing an unmatched holistic driving experience in the world of electric motors.
