Response To Munarman Arrested By Densus 88, Fadli Zon: Making It Up, Lack Of Work!
JAKARTA - Gerindra Politician Fadli Zon does not believe that Munarman, former general secretary of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), is accused of being involved or associated with a terrorist group.
This was revealed by Fadli in a tweet on his Twitter account, @fadlizon, quoted on Wednesday, April 28. "I know Munarman well and I do not believe this terrorist accusation."
Munarman was arrested by the Special Detachment 88 (Densus 88) at Modern Hills Housing, Cinangka, Pamulang, South Tangerang on Tuesday, April 27 at around 15.30 western Indonesia time.
He is suspected of mobilizing other people to commit criminal acts of terrorism, has a bad consensus to commit crimes of terrorism, and withholds information about criminal acts of terrorism.
"Really making it up and lack of work," said this member of Commission I of Indonesian House of Representative (DPR RI).

For information, after arresting Munarman, the Densus 88 Team also conducted a search at the former FPI banned mass organization office in Petamburan, Central Jakarta.
During the search, the team found the explosive raw materials for TATP or triacetone triperoxide, acetone, and nitrates.
Currently, Munarman is 'staying' at the Metro Jaya Police Detention Center. He arrived last night blindfolded and handcuffed.
Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Grand Commissioner Ahmad Ramadhan, confirmed that Munarman was arrested on suspicion of being connected to a number of acts of terrorism.
"The arrests are related to the alleged involvement of brother M, namely related to acts of terrorism that occurred some time ago," said Grand Commissioner Ramadhan.
Ahmad said Munarman would be detained at the Metro Jaya Police Narcotics Detention Center for an intensive examination.
