President Prabowo Subianto's Message: Make Eid Al-Fitr A Strengthening Strength Of Unity
JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto invites the Indonesian people, especially Muslims, to make Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri a momentum to strengthen solidarity.
Prabowo, who represents the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, also congratulated Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri to all Muslims in the country and the world.
"After a full month of fasting Ramadan, come when we celebrate victory. Eid al-Fitr is a holy moment to forgive each other, strengthen friendship, and reaffirm our commitment as individuals to be better, more patient, and care more about others," Prabowo said through the Press, Media and Information Bureau (BPMI) of the Presidential Secretariat in Jakarta, Antara, Sunday, March 30.
He invited the Indonesian people to make the celebration a strength of national unity.
"I invite all Indonesian people wherever they are to make this Eid al-Fitr a strength in strengthening national unity, strengthening social solidarity, and building a more just, more prosperous, and civilized future for the welfare of all Indonesian people," he said.
In the same words, the President then expressed his inner and born apologies.
"Minal aidin wal faidzin. Sorry to be born and inner," he said.
The Ministry of Religion has determined that Eid al-Fitr 1 Syawal 1446 Hijri falls on Monday.
"The date 1 Syawal 1446 Hijri falls on Monday, March 31, 2025 AD," said Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar at the Isbat 1 Syawal 1446 Hijri Session Press Conference at the Ministry of Religion Office, Jakarta, Saturday (29/3).
President Prabowo is scheduled for Eid prayer at the Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta with Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and a number of ministers in the Red and White Cabinet, Monday (31/3). After the Eid prayer, the President is scheduled to hold the Merdeka Palace tour in Jakarta.

The President also invited national figures, including general chairmen of political parties, to come halal bi halal to the Merdeka Palace.
