Burning Cabin Bags, Hong Kong Airlines Aircraft Diverted

JAKARTA - Hong Kong Airlines flight from Hangzhou to Hong Kong had to be diverted to Fuzhou, southeast of China, on Thursday. There was a fire in the cabin trunk compartment.

The cause of the fire has not been disclosed by the airline.

Reported by Reuters on Thursday, March 20, flight HX115 on Airbus A320, carried 160 passengers and eight crew.

Hong Kong Airlines said it was organizing another flight to transport passengers back to Hong Kong.
