Hery Marantika said that since the search operation was carried out after the flood that occurred on Friday, March 14 in Padangsidimpuan City, the joint team has found one victim who was dragged about 6 kilometers from the victim's house.
The body of Bangun Hutabarat (70), a resident of Sihitang Village, Padangsidempuan Tenggara District, Padangsidempuan City, was found Tuesday, March 18, at 13.30 WIB.
He explained the unfortunate incident when the victim and one of his family were swept away by the flood while the two were asleep so they did not have time to save themselves and were declared missing.
"The victim's body was found stuck on the land buried by branches and grass due to a sweep of flash floods and landslides caused by the overflow of the Batang ayumi River. One more victim is being searched," he said.
