Transjabodetabek Will Start In 100 Days Pramono-Rano, 5 New Routes Are Tested
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung discussed the expansion of Transjakarta to the buffer zone, namely Transjabodetabek.
President Director of PT Transjakarta Welfizon Yuza said Transjabodetabek will begin within 100 days of Pramono Anung-Rano Karno's leadership. Because, this is a campaign promise set out in the Pramono-Rano quick wins.
"(Transjabodetabek) is included in the 100-day program (Pramono-Rano). The day it is, this is being discussed. But, definitely in 100 days," Welfizon told reporters, Wednesday, March 19.
Currently, the DKI Provincial Government and Transjakarta are discussing Transjabodetabek's plans intensively with the central government.
Before starting the addition of the Transjakarta route to the buffer zone, the DKI Provincial Government also needs to obtain a route permit from the Transportation Management Agency (BPTJ).
"This includes coordinating with the Dishub of local areas. So later (discussing) permits and all kinds of things," said Welfizon.

Currently, Transjakarta is also starting to conduct technical trials on a number of routes. The plan, there are 5 routes to the Bodetabek area. However, this trial has not transported passengers.
"We have started to conduct technical trials. Starting from checking the track, about where the bus stop position is, how long the headway and travel time are, how much is the fleet needed. We calculate that," explained Welfizon.
Previously, DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said the DKI Provincial Government would expand Transjakarta into Transjabodetabek. Pramono has submitted this discourse to the Minister of Transportation.
"Well, to complete it thoroughly, the government of Jakarta, the central government, and the government who were affected by the Transjabodetabek policy earlier," said Pramono, Monday, March 17.
