Was Introduced Last Year, When Did Citroen Basalt Launch In Indonesia?
JAKARTA - PT Indomobil National Distributor (Citroen Indonesia) briefly introduced Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) Basalt at the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week event last year, but so far the car has not been officially sold.
When asked when the SUV was sold in Indonesia, PT Indomobil National Distributor CEO Tan Kim Piauw, said product development at Stellantis or Citroen was very fast.
"Basalt is indeed still one of the products planned by Citroen to be brought in Indonesia, but frankly, the development of Citroen is very fast," he said, when met in the Jakarta area, some time ago.
Tan Kim Piauw gave an example of the Citroen C3 Aircross and C3 M/T models which were launched last year, and this year has emerged with a significant increase in specifications.
Regarding the launch, Tan revealed that the company is still conducting a study on when it is the right time to launch the Basalt SUV.
"Obviously we are still targeting this year, so it's just a matter of time," he explained.

Regarding the heartburn, referring to the Indian market, it comes in six different variants with 1.2 liter engines with natural-assisted (NA) and turbo options. This machine is claimed to be capable of ejecting maximum performance of up to 82 PS at 5,750 RPM and torques reaching 115 Nm at RPM 3,750 for manual transmission, and automatic transmission is capable of ejecting performances of up to 110 PS in 5,500 RPM and torques reaching 205 at 1,750-2,500 RPM.
