TNBTS Calls Marijuana Fields Outside The Bromo Line And Semeru Climbing
JAKARTA - The Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park Center (TNBTS) stated that the location of the marijuana fields found some time ago was outside the Mount Bromo tourist route and the Mount Semeru ascent.
Head of TNBTS Center Rudijanta Tjahja Nugraha said the cannabis field found was on the east side of the TNBTS area.
"The location of the marijuana plant's findings is not on the Bromo or Semeru route but is on the east side of the TNBTS area," said Rudi in Malang City, East Java, Tuesday, March 18, quoted by Antara.
He explained that in the range of 18-21 September 2024, officers from the TNBTS Center, Lumajang Police, TNI and Argosari Village Apparatus, Senduro District, Lumajang Regency found a marijuana plant field.
The location, he said, is in the area of the Pusung Duwur Resort for the Management of the Seduro and Gucialit National Parks which are included in the working area of the Regional III TN Management Section.
He stated that administratively the location was located in Senduro and Gucialit sub-districts, Lumajang Regency.
"The discovery area of the cannabis plant is fairly hidden, because it is located in an area covered in very dense shrubs with types of leftnyu vegetation, gengeng, and acacian cubs, and is on a steep slope," he said.

Rudi said the area from the Mount Bromo tourist route that entered the TNBTS area was on the west side with a distance of about 11 kilometers from the location where the marijuana field was found.
Meanwhile, he continued, the climbing route for Mount Semeru is on the south side.
"The climbing path of Mount Semeru is on the south side with a distance of about 13 kilometers," he said.
