Accelerating The Establishment Of The Red And White Kopdes Frees Farmers From Tengkulak

JAKARTA - The 8 Prabowo Team has pushed for the acceleration of the formation of 70,000 Cooperatives in Red and White Villages throughout Indonesia. Because this matter will increase the prosperity of the village community.

"We have started consolidation with volunteers and other community elements in the formation of the Red and White Kopdes in each region," said Deputy Coordinator of Team 8 Prabowo, Abdul Havid Permana, Friday, March 14.

The government of President Prabowo Subianto fully initiated the formation of the Red and White Kopdes with all its resources. The goal is to become an economic driving force in a total of 75,753 villages throughout Indonesia.

Kopdes Merah Putih will free farmers from the practice of tengkulak which strangled and impoverishes farmers in the village," he said.

The Indonesian Village Youth Network is also committed to overseeing and collaborating to accelerate the formation of this red and white village cooperative.

In addition, the Presidium of the Indonesian Village Youth Network Center, Mohamad Huda, expressed his appreciation for the formation of the Red and White Kopdes initiated by President Prabowo Subianto.

The program is believed to be implemented with the support of cross-government agencies, including an investment budget of IDR 3-5 billion per Kopdes Merah Putih.

According to him, the formation of 70,000 Red and White Kopdes throughout Indonesia will return quality youths to their respective villages. They will have new challenges to build their hometowns.

"This is a manifestation of the state's presence in controlling urbanization of young people, creating jobs, and alleviating poverty in villages," said Huda.
