The DKI Provincial Government Has Disbursed Obstacles On The Acquisition Of Ciliwung Normalization Land
JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government will continue the process of land acquisition for the normalization construction of the Ciliwung River, whose projects have started many years ago.
The DKI Jakarta Water Resources Agency has deployed a number of obstacles that have hampered land acquisition.
Secretary of the DKI Jakarta SDA Office, Hendri, said that one of them is the limited regional budget. This results in the cost of land acquisition cannot be directly budgeted in all fields.
In addition, the DKI Provincial Government must also pay close attention to the legality of the land sector as a place for residents to be released.
"There are still some that are still in the form of cultivated land, so proof of ownership needs more comprehensive research," Hendri told reporters, Thursday, March 13.
Then, when the DKI Provincial Government has mapped or determined the location (penlok) of the land to be acquired, not all residents are willing to sell their land for the Ciliwung normalization project.
"In the process of making a penlok, there are still residents who refuse or disagree with the normalization plan. They do not want their land to be released," he said.
In the future, there are three urban villages that are targeted for land acquisition for residential areas, namely Ciliwung with 411 plots of land, Bidara Cina 162 plots of land, and Pengadegan 61 plots of land.
"The area of land to be acquired in Cawang is 58,946 square meters, the scene is 13,101 square meters, and the Chinese Bidara is 57,035 square meters," said Hendri.
Hendri explained, in the Ciliwung normalization project, the DKI Provincial Government is tasked with acquiring land. The land that has been acquired will be used for river widening.
"The river will be blocked and inspection roads built. The Ministry of Public Works is the Ciliwung Cisadane River Basin (BBWSCC)," said Hendri.
In addition to the normalization of Ciliwung, the DKI Provincial Government has also installed embankments or sheet piles on the edges of many times in Jakarta. The installation of embankments aims to tackle landslides around rivers/rivers.
