Results Of Check Routes, Polda Metro Asks People To Go Home To The Eastern Region Not To Use Motorcycles

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya appealed to the public not to go home using motorbikes. This is because the route leading east is considered very dangerous.

This was conveyed based on the results of checking the two-wheeled homecoming route starting from Cawang-Kalimalang-West Bekasi-East Bekasi-Tambun-Cibitung-Kedungwaringin-Karawang.

"This year let's avoid using motorcycle homecoming," said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Latif Usman to reporters, Wednesday, March 12.

For example, on the Cawang to Bekasi routes. In the East Bekasi area, street lighting is very minimal, so it is very dangerous for safety.

"If it is unavoidable, please, especially those to eastern Arabia, the route is a very dangerous route. There are many settlements, at night the lighting between Cawang River and Bekasi is sufficient," he said.

"But between East Bekasi and Jatiwaringin there is but it is not sufficient. So it is recommended, if you want to go home, motorbikes, especially use it during the day," continued Latif.

Then, there are also many U-turn points or U-turns that are one of the causes of traffic jams. Therefore, it is hoped that people can use public transportation or take advantage of free homecoming services. "This is what we need to inform travelers using motorbikes," said Latif.
