Teachers In Cianjur Are Prohibited From Receiving Eid Al-Fitr 2025 Parcels, Disdikpora: Say Thank You Directly

JAKARTA - The Department of Youth and Sports Education (Disdikpora) of Cianjur Regency prohibits parents of students in Cianjur from giving parcels or gifts to teachers during Eid al-Fitr 2025.

Head of Disdikpora Cianjur Regency, Ruhli Solehudin, said that although his intentions were good, the meaning was different, so the ban on giving Eid packages to teachers was not allowed.

"If you want to say thank you, it should be done directly without having to bring parcels to school, so we prohibit teachers from accepting gifts in any form," he said in Cianjur, Tuesday, March 11, as reported by Antara.

Disdikpora Cianjur issued an official appeal to all educational units so that teachers do not accept parcels in any form, when someone is caught receiving their party will give strict sanctions.

Even parents are asked to comply with the ban, so that no teachers from elementary, junior high and high school levels equivalently receive gifts under any pretext because strict sanctions will be carried out from verbal to administrative sanctions.

"We urge that anyone who gives or receives can report to the office or to the education coordinator in each sub-district for action," he said.

His party also reminded parents to prohibit elementary and junior high school students from bringing cell phones to school to increase students' concentration while undergoing the teaching and learning process and suppress bullying of students.

A circular regarding the prohibition has been submitted to all elementary and junior high school levels, so when it is found that a student carrying a cellphone must be stored by the homeroom teacher.

"Instruction of the Regent of Cianjur, Dr. Wahyu, we follow up with a circular letter that must be obeyed by all elementary and junior high schools in Cianjur, when there are students who carry cellphones, the homeroom teacher will be secured until school hours," he said.

He hopes that the prohibition on bringing mobile phones to school can increase students' achievements and concentrations while undergoing the teaching and learning process, including suppressing cases of bullying and other despicable actions.
