KPK Searches The PUPR Musi Banyuasin Office To Find Evidence To Investigate New Allegations Of Corruption

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) searched two locations within the Musi Banyuasin Regency Government, one of which was the PUPR Service office today, Thursday, March 4. This forced effort was carried out regarding a new case that is being investigated.

"KPK investigators conducted searches within the Musi Banyuasin Regency Government located at the PUPR Office and the Office of the Procurement of Goods and Services," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardhika to reporters in a written statement, Tuesday, March 4.

Tessa said the new case being investigated was related to the work of increasing Jalan Tebing Bulang Km 11 Jirak-Jembatan Tangg-Talang Simpang-Rahayu-Mekar Jaya at the PUPR Office Musi Banyuasin APBD 2018. Investigators work based on a general investigation warrant (sprindik) which means there is no suspect name.

A number of pieces of evidence were later found by investigators from the location. This finding was then confiscated and will be clarified to the party who will be summoned as a witness.

"The search was carried out from morning to evening and from the results of the search, electronic evidence was obtained and then confiscated," concluded Tessa.
