10 Ways To Get Rid Of Used Acne Bopeng According To A Skin Doctor
JAKARTA - The appearance of acne on the face is very annoying. Not to mention the side effects left by acne such as hyperpigmentation and bounce, can be stressful. In some cases the bounce takes months or even years to disappear. Or if it doesn't subside by itself, it takes a skin doctor intervention for a more permanent repair through a laser or filler.
However, there are several solutions to treat and fade acne scars, either with or without professional intervention. VOI launched Byrdie, Tuesday, March 4 asking for advice from three board-certified dermatologists.
Salicylic acid is lipophilic beta acid (BHA), meaning that this acid likes to mix with oil. This trait allows it to penetrate deep into the pores and clean it. Hydroxy alpha acid (AHA), such as glycolic acid and lactic acid, is hydrophilic in nature so that it cannot penetrate the pores properly. However, this acid effectively peels dead skin cells and prevents clogged pores.
Brendan Camp, MD, a specialist in skin and specialist in double-certified skin pathology at MDCS Dermatology in New York City suggests the use of soft facial cleaners with salicylic acid content that can be used to treat acne on the face, shoulders, and back.
Retinoids treat acne by regulating or normalizing the process of cell change, which prevents clogged pores and the formation of acne lumps.
"The use of long-term retinoids is considered to help produce collagen," said Dr. Camp.
He recommends Adapalene gels, oles medication to treat acne or light comedy and prevent the emergence of new acne.
According to Dr. Camp, chemical tackles can expose fresh and healthy tissues and stimulate the production of new collagen so as to disguise the appearance of the bopeng.
"Resurfacing procedures such as resurfacing, chemical steel, and dermabration lasers are effective choices, such as microclocks that work by stimulating the production of new collagen," added Jeriel Weitz, DO, FAAD, a board-certified dermatologist specifically for general dermatology, surgery, and Florida-based cosmetics.
Soft on the skin but working strongly on scars, chemical pain often gets a bad reputation because it is harsh or painful. If done properly, this exfoliation does not cause pain and can give deep exfoliation.
Microneedling creates a small, narrow, and shallow mechanical injury area that stimulates the repair response, increases collagen production, and repairs the appearance of scars. When combined with radio frequencies, the method becomes slightly more aggressive with deeper energy released into the skin, triggering a stronger inflammatory and collagen response.
isotretinoin is acne treatment recommended to treat acne with scars. If other forms of care are ineffective and no longer exist, Dr. Camp says that isotretinoin can provide a long-lasting remission on acne that leaves scars. You can only use isotretinoin with the advice of a board-certified dermatologist.
Conducted in clinics by dermatologists, sub-sidual procedures involve cutting off scar tissue that functions to bind the skin and making basins (hole parts) of the scars). During this procedure, needles are inserted into the skin to cut the collagen rope. However, keep in mind, Dr. Camp says that this procedure can cause bruises.
Dr. Camp recommends looking for acne gels that can be used to treat entire faces or as a treatment in certain parts. Make sure the formula contains azelaic acid and salicylic acid for extra exfoliation to help show the skin's surface is smoother.

Filler injections with hyaluronic acid content can encourage the exit and tightening of squeezed skin to make it more even. Dr. Camp explains that hyaluronic acid "is a natural component of extracellular matrices, gels that surround skin cells and adjacent structures." Other options for fillers include Sculptra (poly-L-lactic acid), autologous fat transfer, and FDA-approved Bellafill (polymetyl microspheres methacrylate with collagen).
Dermabration (with varying depth) works in the same way as chemical exfoliation. Dermabration uses abrasive peeling material to remove the upper layer of the skin, not liquid chemicals. Dermabration can also help limit the appearance of acne and reduce excess oil in pores.
TCA CROSS stands for Trichloroacetic Acid Chemical Reconstruction of Skin Scars. A dermatologist, Jessica Weiser, MD, says this is a type of chemical peeling procedure used to treat acne scars. A dermatologist will place triloroasetat acid (or TCA) in a scar to slowly induce a healing response. This will close the depth of the scar.
