Rumors Of The IPhone 17e For 2026 Are Starting To Appear
JAKARTA The day before the official iPhone 16e was sold, rumors about the possible launch of the iPhone 17e in 2026 began to circulate.
The iPhone SE, which was replaced by the iPhone 16e, has only experienced three updates in nine years. However, since Apple CEO Tim Cook welcomed the iPhone 16e as the latest member of the iPhone family through uploads on social media, there has been speculation that this model will get an annual update.
The allegation is further strengthened by two separate sources claiming that the iPhone 17e will be released in February 2026. However, no details are available, and only one source appears to have a more convincing claim basis.
Tech leak "Fixed Focus Digital" claims on social media Weibo that it has found evidence in the form of a "new project code suspected of being linked to the iPhone 17e." However, there is no further information regarding where the project code was found, except possibly in Chinese regulatory documents.
On the other hand, Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) stated in a blog post that they expect Apple to announce the iPhone 17e "about the same time next year." However, the report does not include a clear source and only speculates on Google's Pixel phone launch pattern.

CIRP has an unfavorable reputation in presenting sources of information, often making statistical claims without sufficient details to verify.
Meanwhile, Fixed Focus Digital's track record of leaking information is only classified as average, although they are one of the first and less of the correct in revealing the name of the latest iPhone SE as the iPhone 16e.
Until now, there has been no official confirmation from Apple regarding the existence of the iPhone 17e
