Precision Social Service, National Police Chief-TNI Commander Ensures Basic Needs Are Maintained During Ramadan
JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and TNI Commander General Agus Subianto held a Precision Social Service (Baksos) activity ahead of Ramadan 1446 Hijri. The goal is to ensure that the basic needs of the community are met.
"We have just carried out social service activities together with the TNI, Polri and all youth organizations, students, university BEM alliances at the center and also those in the region. And today we are carrying out simultaneously," said Sigit in his remarks, Thursday, February 27.
Similar activities are said to have been held simultaneously at 34 Polda in Indonesia. A total of 161,411 packages were given to 55 elements consisting of the BEM, Cipayung Plus, BEM non-alignment to other youth organizations.
"We carry out this activity in facing the holy month of Ramadan 1446 Hijri. Where this activity is another form of our activities to jointly carry out social service activities," he said.
"Especially for people who need it and this activity for 55 elements who are members of the center and in their respective regions. Currently, we distribute approximately 161,411 packages," continued Sigit.

This assistance is given to people in need. The National Police Chief wants to ensure that the basic needs of the community are maintained ahead of Ramadan.
"Of course we hope that this activity can really be useful for all people in need, especially facing the holy month of Ramadan. What we know is that we have to face several things related to the daily needs of basic commodities. And we hope that everything can be maintained," said Sigit.
