JAMBI - The Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas) of the Jambi Police noted that the number of manual ticketing issued during the 2025 Siginjai Safety Operation was 3,364 times.

Quoting Antara Thursday, February 27, the Director of Traffic and Traffic of the Jambi Police, Police Commissioner Dhafi, said that manual ticketing experienced a significant increase of more than 400 percent, from 662 times in 2024 to 3,364 times in 2025.

Meanwhile, tickets through Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) decreased. It was recorded that in 2025 there were 26 ETLE tickets and 33 times in the same period in 2024.

Furthermore, the warning given by personnel during the Siginjai Safety Operation decreased by 33.01 percent, from 7,413 times in 2024 to 4,966 times in 2025.

Dhafi said the number of victims who died as a result of the accident during the operation also decreased. This year there were only two accident victims who died, while last year there were six deaths.

During the 2025 Siginjai Safety Operation, said Dhafi, it showed success in reducing the number of victims who died and increasing repressive measures against traffic violations.

In addition, Ditlantas personnel also take humane and educational action against road users to improve traffic order.

This is in line with the message from the Jambi Police Chief Inspector General Rusdi Hartono regarding the 2025 Siginjai Safety Operation. Rusdi emphasized that this operation aims to improve the orderly culture of community traffic.

The Kapolda emphasized that this is an important part as an effort to resolve traffic problems, congestion problems with traffic violations, traffic accidents, including fatalities for accident victims.

All traffic problems that occur, said Rusdi, can be resolved through an increase in traffic-ordered culture.
