Mother And Child In Ternate Attacked By Wild Pigs Entering Settlements
Police officers together with residents of Ternate Island, North Maluku, evacuated a mother and child who were injured as a result of being attacked by wild boars who entered residential areas of Rua Village.
Head of Public Relations of the Ternate Police, AKP Umar Kombong, said that this incident began when a resident named Sister Budi saw a wild boar crossing the road and entering the village.
The pigs then attacked Misna (41) and her son, Zahlia (4). The pigs tore up the victim's clothes until their bodies were covered in blood.

This incident immediately sparked panic among local residents. Residents who saw the incident immediately reacted using makeshift tools, such as wood and stone, to fight the wild boar.
After a few minutes had passed, the pig was successfully paralyzed and killed by residents who were around the scene, precisely in RT. 003, Rua Village.
The two victims who were seriously injured were immediately rushed to the Chasan Boesiri General Hospital for medical treatment.
At 08.00 WIT, victims Misna and Zahlia arrived at the hospital for help.
