Regarding The Request For Export Of The Amman Mineral Copper Concentrat, Bahlil: Not Yet
JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia revealed that until now only PT Freeport Indonesia has applied for a copper export permit to the government. Bahlil also confirmed that PT Amman Mineral Internasional had not made an official submission to the government.
"Until now, Freeport has been proposed. (Amman) has not yet," Bahlil told the media crew at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Building, Friday, February 21.
Whereas previously in front of Commission XII of the DPR RI, President Director of PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk Rachmat Makkasau said that the demand for copper concentrate exports was due to the commissioning process which was slower than planned.
"The commissioning process is running slowly because we are making various efforts to ensure that nothing happens that we don't want. Because this is a new technology that is very different from our ability as miners," said Rachmat in a Hearing Meeting with Commission XII DPR RI, Wednesday, February 18.
