The TAMASYA Program Of The Ministry Of Education And Culture Is Proud To Target 10,026 Child Care Places

JAKARTA Through the updating of Family Data Collection (PK) in 2024, the Ministry of Population and Family Development/Deputy Head of the National Population and Family Planning Agency (Kemenduk bangga/BKKBN has compiled 75.6 million Indonesian families which are detailed based on the typology of Indonesian families, among others, there are 3,784,725 families who have children who are less than 2 years old between 0 and 23 months while there are 9,141,919 families who have children aged 24 to 59 months.

This was conveyed by the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education and Culture/BKKBN, Ratu Ayu Isyana Bagoes Oka, SE when opening the 2025 Series 1 Webinar "Tamasya in Sensory and Motoric Relatives in Balita" which was held online and broadcast live via Youtube Channel @Ministry of Population and Family Development on Thursday/20/02/2025.

Currently, Central Indonesia enjoys a demographic bonus as a result of the long journey of decreasing birth and death rates, this is of course the result of the performance of the Ministry of Education and Culture/BKKBN which has yielded results.

"So that we enjoy a demographic bonus, there will be a decrease in dependence rate to 44 in 2022 with an abundance of productive age population with a proportion of 70% of the total population. Population policies then of course need to be formulated to provide affirmations so that the age structure of residents in the regions with a high dependence ratio can be overcome to support economic growth, which of course later can also lead to the welfare of their people," said Deputy Minister Isyana.

Wamen Isyana also added that currently the Women's Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) reaches 55.41%, this figure is much lower than the Men's TPAK which reaches 84%. This of course needs special attention so that women can also be more empowered even though they are married and have children.

"One of the ways and strategies pursued by the Minister of Wihaji of the Ministry of Education and Culture/BKKBN through Quick Wins through the Taman Asuh Sayang Anak (Tamasya) program is to organize a great class of parents (Kerabat) to improve the ability to care for their families for what, so that later the golden generation in 2045 can truly be realized with healthy children and also have good income starting from family," he added.

The Tamasya program has spread throughout Indonesia by targeting 10,026 child care sites consisting of 17, based on 2,418 government based on the company-based 7,528 people.
